i downloaded/purchased the new trend micro titanium maximum security yesterday, and it was running fine. it then received an update, asked to restart which i did, now i can't open it from desktop, and windows is saying that it is turned off. i have tried reinstalling, going through the troubleshooting via there website. i don't really want to have to call them ( did this 3 times yesterday and found them not helpful)
i have removed all old security etc, now at a loss as what to do? anyone else had a similar problem with this? thanks in advance!

should also mention i did try turning off the UAC and did not work. also downloaded the trend micro hotfix, which wouldn't run.

Since you bought it, I suggest you call TrendMicro tech support.
