Hello and welcome to the forum!

Your post is virtually impossible to follow.
Can you please be a little clearer and explain
1. what are you trying to accomplish
2. any error messages?
3. what steps have you taken thus far.

Thanks
In the beginning there was the command line.

Yes in original state there is a welcome/log on-- I googled how to bypass this and the former screens have now gone and I should get a start up and shutdown smaller screens with dialouge boxes
its fine on log off the screen stays on till shutdown but not on start up it flashes twice then stays off, its maybe what happens, its no big prob I think--no errors
