How to remove Norton security scan

Hi,

i download Norton Internet security 2011 yesterday, it cause so much trouble with my system, that i couldn't get it to actually install properly. i went onto the symantec site and thought i would run the scan to check for any virus's, but now cannot remove this from my computer. i have run the Norton removal tool, and tried the usual way via programme edit, also removing what i could find in regedit.
i have just purchased the trend micro, but will not let me install because of the norton!! driving me mad...anyone please help??

You can try using OPSWAT's AppRemover - supported applications list.

I ended up downloading the revouninstaller, worked great!
