hijack log, need to get a handle on it

OK I need to get some tutoring on cleaning up a hijacked pc. Even w adaware/spybot/googletoolbar/current virus still gets IE popups. I provide residential service to users that often have this. Ultimately I reisntall windows sometimes. So can I get some info on my log what to shi*can??

I want you to fix some of those entries. Please do the following:

Please make sure that you can view all hidden files. Instructions on how to do this can be found here:

How to see hidden files in Windows

Run Hijackthis again, click scan, and Put a checkmark next to each of these. Then click the Fix button

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing I usually fix these

Unknown to me. Not sure if you should keep it or remove it. I will leave that up to you but it prob wont hurt to remove it

great! Thanks for the help. I had already pulled out deleted 'suspiscious' items and my long running 'myster ad cache' is history. I guess MCSE's DONT know everything?! ;-D
