help with whois requested - How do I see what domains a person owns?

Hello all,

I use to be able to use whois to search on a last name and display all domains owned by that person. It's been a long time and I can't seem to remember how I use to do that. I have an Ubuntu machine I'm trying to do this on.

All help is greatly appreciated.
