I have had my laptop for 2 years and I never realized it had an interal microphone. It is a dell inspiron 1720 windows vista business and I believe an optiplex 755 system. It has the integrated webcam and I have read posts about issues with the audio, but the solutions have not worked. If I go into the dell webcam center and at the bottom right click on the audio source drop-down I have two options: off or audio source control. The third option (more) is grayed and I cannot click it and same thing when I open the audio source control. I have tried downloading some drives off the dell driver download site, but none of them download. About halfway through they stop and it says something about an error occurred and try again. I tried installing other versions of the drive, but the same thing happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I have spent numerous hours trying to fix this problem.
