Hi,

Someone had accessed my laptop for about half an hour. I am suspicious he may have planted some malicious software like a keylogger, or email spy software, etc. What is the best way to check for this and put my mind at rest? I normally use avg free and malwarebytes once in a while.

thanks.

Try running a full scan with malwarebytes (updated first) and superantispyware, see if they find anything. If you're still suspicious that there may be something on your laptop after running those scans, post back on here and one of the malware response team may be able to help you find out if there is anything lurkingp

Both the Malwarebytes and Superantispyware scans were clean, but I still have doubts. What can I post so that experts on this forum can make a final determination if something is suspicious or not?

Thanks!
