Hi all,
3 days ago while I was working on outlook, I got blue screen with "unknown hard error".
Ever since, every boot the windows goes directly to system repair and I'm unable to load windows!
I could see this error is ci.dll corrupted.
I have tried to do system restore and scan virus from Linux bootable avira and also tried the sfc /scannow however got error saying there is a pending repair.
I cannot re-install as I've got slot of thing on this computer and I'd rather not to. It can be big damage.

I can use your help here guys!!!

Thanks
Asa

Hello, when starting your computer tap F8, when the Advanced Boot Options menu comes up, select Repair Windows.
Once the Recovery Environment is loaded, select Command prompt.
Type chkdsk /r c: and press enter. This will scan your disk for errors.
Note, this may take a while and the scan may seem to "jump back" at certain points. This is normal.
Once done, restart normally and let me know what happens.

regards, Elise
