The last time I logged off, I recieved an error message "someone else is logged on to your computer. If you log off their data will be deleted etc."

So I have two questions..

First is.. how can I see if someone else is using or has hacked my PC?

Second.. how can I prevent this happening in the future?

Thanks in advance for all replies...
