Hi, my name is Loba and I've been a member for over a year, but never had a problem ComboFix couldn't solve. Somehow my IBM Stinkpad got a virus. It got in my control panel and everywhere. It wouldnt let me delete it, but I was up for 3 days and its gone I THINK. Among the things I tried was Windows XP System Restore. It wouldn't let me choose any dates or anything. Now my comp says the c drive is corrupt. It's unusable and so are the usb ports. I didn't even perform the backup restoration, but every thing is all over the place. Files are mixed up in all the folders, etc. I can't access much cuz all the paths are invalid. I also have great difficulty staying online, which may or may not be related. The first thing I tried was ComboFix cuz I've always loved it. But it doesn't run well with Avira active. Is there ANYTHING I can do?
Help me Obi1Kenobi. You're my only hope!

Hello,

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
