dual os xp home & pro. does it possible to have both anti-virus?

i have two OS xp home and xp pro..
i want to install both with avast free anti-virus.
Does it possible?

Every version of Windows installed...should have, as a minimum...one AV program installed/updated/used, 1 firewall active, and 1 spyware/malware program such as SUPERAntiSpyware and/or Malwarebytes installed/updated/used...as well as all critical updates...in order to provide a minimum level of system proteection/defense, IMO.
