Ok, This morning I had my yahoo email send out numerous emails to random contacts. Hopefully nobody clicked on the links inside of the emails. I sent an email to Yahoo to check on whether my account was hacked or I have a virus/ malware on the only non linux pc in the house. I am running Hijack this but it isnt letting me create any log files or a startuplist file???

Any ideas?

Hello,

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.

OK I guess I can kill this post. Both my gmail and yahoo mail accounts were hacked. The spam/virus emails were sent out from Bangalore... The only problem I have is trying to figure out which PC this happened on. I have setup my verification/ authenticators on bot accounts and have changed passwords and encryption on all of my routers. Now to figure out which of the 4 PCs i use was the culprit. Two of them are linux based and the other two are windows based. Ummmm I guess I should also include my Android phone.... arghhhh!

Any good tools somebody could recommend?
