While installing Comodo Firewall/Geek Buddy, I had to reboot. I lost some file ext. assoc., also lost some files comepletely.

Everytime I open IE or click on a link, an installation window for DAO.msi pops up. I've searched my computer for it & also deleted files with Recuva...nothing.
I've run sfc /scannow twice...to no avail.
Also ran CHKDSK in DOS & Windows Defrag.

I believe the missing DAO.msi file may be from a microsoft plus! disk that a friend installed about a year ago & I don't have the disk.

Please Help...
