My budget is around 1200$ at max.

I was deciding between Alienware M14x or Asus G73SW-XA1

This Toshiba laptop would be better.

It has an i5 core tho, 2410M 2.3GHZ

The alienware has better graphicc card 460M Nvidia GEFORCE I think

EDIT: Wait, it has awesome Graphic Card. Not bad, i5 core tho o.O

The Toshiba has the 540M graphics which is newer then the 460M but has a i5. On the Asus it has a i7 processor but with a 460M graphics. It's up to, either power or graphics.
