I followed your instructions to the letter. I:
1) Rebooted into Safe Mode with Networking
2) Downloaded and ran the registry fix,
3) Downloaded and ran rkill,
4) Updated and ran SAS using the settings you recommended (I already had a copy installed)
Like MalwareBytes, SAS crashed about an hour into the scan.
I booted into Safe Mode with Networking again, reran the registry fix, reran rkill, and downloaded and ran SAS Portable Scanner. Yet again, it crashed a little over an hour into the scan.
Is there anything else I can do?
