Hi all!

Not much interesting about me, really. 70 year old hot rodder-security guard-computer repair has-been from Detroit, now in Tampa waiting for the Reaper and luvin life.
I'm just your average home PC user, know enough to be dangerous and frustrated as hell when stuff goes wrong, as it did with this site.
I saw an article in the local paper highly recommending Bleeping and combofix. I've been trouble-free for a couple years now ,but recently getting the sllooooooowwwws. Of course, when I D/Led the site, got an error saying I have to remove CA antivirus, which is listed in 'Programs', but not in Control Panel Add/Remove. Microsoft the says I must have registry problems, need to back it up and do some poking around in there. Sares the hell out of me.
Anyway, that's not for this forum. I'll go to the problem forum next. Just venting.

Hello and :welcome: to Bleeping Computer.

Be sure to check out the New User Orientation and the excellent Tutorials.
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
