Hello. I have been haunting this site for a while and see how helpful it has been. I cannot read a Hijack This log so I need to introduce myself and some time in the NEAR future will post in the appropriate section. If I can find my way back to this page to answer someone that might hollar back at me, I feel I will have made a giant step for computermoronkind. I am asked and trying to fix my families computers as they ask. I work in a casino for my "real job". Always have been interested in how computers work. Messed up many times too. But love the challenge. So Hello to all.

Welcome to BC!
You can practice by replying to my post. There are, by the way several good articles in the Tutorial section about the mechanics of posting, etc., here at BC (near the end of the list) and some additional tips in the New User Orientation forum. There is also a Test and Scribbles forum if you want to try different fonts, etc., for your posts.
Regards,
John

I am soon going to be tutoring a person who
works in a casino for her "real job".

I hope she attempts, as you have, to learn
self help here at BC, too.

Good job, Creator55
patiently patrolling, plenty of persisant pests n' problems ...
