Internal error 2573. regutils.dll

Any help?

Please download JavavRA which will remove Java for you.

I've already tried using JavaRa. A few days earlier, I uninstalled Java with it, and received this error.

Log is posted for good measure.

Attached is the error message I receive when I attempt to install it with the installer downloaded from the Oracle website.

I've searched around with Google and tried a few things, such as delete regutils.dll from the bin folder, set a new path, all to no avail. All files are currently placed where they should be at the moment.

I know this may sound like a dum question, but have you rebooted since then?

Have you tried the stand alone version?

Not too computer savvy, can you explain what the stand alone version is?

Can you verify that the Java folder under c:\program files is completely gone?

It was not gone at all before, in fact it was full of files still. I just now moved the entire Java folder from C:\Program Files to my desktop and ran the installer again, running into the same error.

Delete the folder entirely.
