Video Transfer Camera-pc

I have a IEEE 1394 Bus host controller port with cable.
It used to be able to transfer the video from video camera
to PC. Then suddenly, the connection seemed to have
I thought I might need to reinstall the driver, but where do
I find this ? I do not have the disk for it.
Very thankful for any help.

Thats a firewire connection, Im not sure you need the drivers for firewire. Theyre included in windows xp, and the latest service pack. Are you using a bad chord? Do you need to install the drivers for the camera/video camera your trying to connect?
