I have a number of seniors using Win 2000 computers that I am in charge of maintaining. I am have a HUGE issue with the Windows magnifier, in particular, turning the darned thing OFF. I have tried everything and would like to know if anyone knows how to uninstall this feature of the Accessibility programs in Win 2000. I do not want to format and reinstall. That is something I do not want to do or do only as a last resort. My suspicions are that the magnifier was not turned off prior to shutting down Windows but now I cannot turn the thing off and it does not register in the TaskManager.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Please check this MS tutorial to turn off the Magnifier using the Utility Manager settings in Win 2000.
