I have a Dell Studio XPS with no sound from any source. The sound card is SoundblasterX-Fi Xtreme audio.
I downloaded the updated drivers after the 2 hard drives were exchanged due to a Raid volume degrade issue. The motherboard was also replaced.
The sound was lost before any hardware was exchanged.
Cd's, online videos, itunes, etc. The speakers work on the test mode fine. The volume control on the task bar bounces up and down when a Cd is played. But nothing comes out of the speakers.
Any suggestions?

All fixed. Had to reset "Speakers" to default.
