I continually get the following message: The first line is the Topic Title and the second is the Topic Description. After that it will read as follows: Process ID=0x5e8(1512), Thread id=0x5ec(1516). It will ask to either click on OK or Cancel. OK will stop/close the window message, cancel will open another message window which reads as follows: Registered JIT debugger is not available (error code of 0x2 (2) please check computer settings-cordbg.exe !a 0x7b8
Can you please set me on the path to resolving this? Thank you for your time.

http://forum.videohelp.com/threads/264161-Common-Language-Runtime-Debugging-Service-ERROR!

Seems to indicate possibly damaged MS NET Framework. I would just install NET Framwork 3.5, SP1, rather than uninstall anything. If the new install doesn't solve it, I would then consider uninstalling.

Alternately, download/install NET Framework 4.0.

Hello hamluis, I tried downloading the 3.5 and I still have the same problem. Were you telling me to try downloading the 4.0 before using the linked solution? Thank you for your help and time. JP

Hello Hamluis, I tried your suggestion but still have the same problem. Another message box came up during the installation of the 1.1 Framework that reads as follows: The path 'C:\Dell\6w650\NETFX.MSI' cannot be found. Verify that you have access to this location and try again or try to find the installation package NET.FX.MSI in a folder from which you can install the product Microsoft. NET Framework 1.1. When I tried to find it I got the following: Error 1706 No valid source could be found for Microsoft.NET Framework 1.1. The Windows Installer cannot continue. Hope this will lead us out of the woods on this one, I thank you again for your time and efforts regarding this problem. JP

I would check the Dell forums and/or Dell support...for similar issues.
