micr word alternative

I am having a hard time finding microsoft word alternative that is international (i.e. arabic & hebrew), right to left reading, exports into pdf, and reads .doc among other formats.

any ideas please? this is getting frusterating.

As far as I know Abiword may be of use to you.

Looks like Open Office will do Arabic & Hebrew.
I know it will read Word docs but am not sure about PDF's.
In the beginning there was the command line.

You may also go to http://ninite.com/ check OpenOffice under the Documents. Click get installer at the bottom of the page. When installer downloads, double click it and OpenOffice will install automatically.
