Please help!!! I have been dealing with a Google Redirect virus for around a month, I thought for some time that I had the problem solved but it has presented itself again. The problem started when we tried to update Java, and has persisted since, now Firefox will freeze up and crash. Our Norton scanner keeps popping up with a warning that it blocked an attack by: Phoenix Toolkit Website 3.
I have downloaded and ran both the TDSSKiller and Malawarebytes, both turned up nothing. I am desperate to solve this problem! Thanks!

Phoenix Toolkit is an exploit pack that can be inserted into a web page, where it will attempt to install malware on visitor's PCs using driveby downloads that target vulnerabilities in installed programs. It may be that you are infected and Norton is detecting something trying to call out to download some of the toolkit components, or it may simply be that you are encountering this toolkit at a particular website and Norton is blocking it.

If Gmer won't run, skip it and move on.
Let me know if that went well.
