It started about 2 days ago. I went to play Red Alert 2 and my screen kept freezing everytime I tried. So I tried counter strike and noticed small little discrepancies all over the screen.

This is a rather bad example but notice the white dots. I get alot of this kinda thing and it definatly wasn't there before. My first thought was graphics card overheating. But I put a new fan on a few months ago. And while the card is kinda hot it's nothing that it really shouldn't be. The fan seems to be working fine too. I've tried installing different drivers. Re-installing drivers. I'm really not sure what the problem is. Thanks =).

Nevermind guys I fixed it. It was a heating problem afterall. The amount of dust under the fan... ouch.

Ouch for sure.

Thanks for telling us what you did.

It's a good reminder to all to check periodically on such.
