Hello! I am a reletively long-time computer user, having bought my firest one, a used 486 in 1995. I currently own four, a brand new emachines Athlon 3500+ Media Center , a white box I gig Athlon computer that I have set up for my wife as a word processing machine, a Compaq small footprint 600 mhz, I keep in a closet for emergencies and an old laptop, an HP Pavilion with an AMD 475mhz.

I love computers, but sometimes I am a little timid at learning how to do things like installing operating systems and the like. Here, I might learn a few things.
