Having an annoying time deleting an apparently corrupt folder. It appears to be empty, no hidden files, however when I attempt to delete I get the warning "Cannot delete FILE:The directory is not empty.

I've tried Unlocker, and get an alert Unlocker.exe-Corrupt File. I've tried Chkdsk once, no change. Any suggestions?

1) What makes you say the folder is "corrupt"?
2) What's the name and location of the folder?

An assumption. It's in C:\Program Files part of a game my son had uninstalled, held wav files now appears to be empty. I can move it but can't delete it.

Try using Revo Uninstaller.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

If Revo doesn't help, use Unlocker to delete on the the next boot: http://download.cnet.com/Unlocker/3000-2248_4-10493998.html
