Hello. Please disregard the thread I started entitled MXTask2-Slowing system.

The problem is this. I shut my computer down this morning and went to work. I came home and booted up. Outlook would not function saying that it could not process because there was not enough memory. I had Outlook, Firefox, and iTunes running. That is normal for me and has never caused problems. The only program running now that I cannot recognize in Task Manager is MXTask2.exe.

Another odd thing. Most of the files on my desktop had pictures of kings as if from a playing card.

I ran Norton and rebooted. The kings are gone but Outlook still says not enough memory. MXTask2.exe is still running. It also has no user listed if that matters.

Any thoughts on what may be wrong?

Thanks.

Now I think it may be an Outlook problem and not a virus. I started this thread in the email forum.

I don't mean to double post but this is very frustrating.

And, it's Outlook 2007. I can't change this thread's title, however.

Thank you.
