My computer uses Windows XP Pro. Several months ago I installed, for my Blackberry, Desktop Manager which (found out later) also comes with the Roxio Media Manager. I tried to uninstall the Roxio but must've completely botched it. Now, and for several months, upon starting my computer I get a diolague box --

Windows Installer "Preparing to install..."
followed by: Windows config..."Roxio Media Manager"
followed by: Roxio Media Manager InstallShield Wizard "Unable to find a certificate file". When I click OK it takes me back to the Windows Config...

Normally upon startup I open task manager and end the process there. I've learned to live with the process but it's getting tedious lately.
Also, I don't think I am able to install any programs (though maybe it was just the one time I tried also this is on the user account and non-administrator)

I've found some info on this situation but thought I'd post on this site because you guys are the BEST!!!

Thanks!

Did you try reinstalling the Blackberry software and then uninstalling it again? Try that and see if it helps.
