Hello,

I was recently infected by the Windows Restore virus. I went through procedures installed rkill and malwerebytes and selected unhide to retrieve all my files, thankfully they came back, and am mostly confident that I have successfully removed the virus, but I still cannot see my desktop icons even though I know they have not been wiped out as they can be accessed through C disk. Can someone assist me in putting them back on my desktop my laptop is Running Windows 7.

Thank you in advance.
