I am the CADD Manager for a small engineering, surveying and construction firm in the MD suburbs of DC. Been in the Civil Engineering field for over 30 years. Also worked for Md DOT as the project manager of the first 100% CADD project for MD DOT. From there I got into CADD Systems management. Started working with computers on Sperry Univacs, later on 2 DEC VAX's, Unix Workstations, NT 3.5, Windows 3.0, WFW 3.11, 95, NT 4.0, 2000, and currently XP (only 2 PC at work have Windows 7.) I've even build a few PC's from parts. Recently, I have been having to do more non-CADD related things, which confirmed my beliefe that my skills had become somewhat rusty.
I found this site after my wife's PC got bit by the XP Windows Total Security malware.

The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
