Previously I have made a boot disk from the Norton 2003 Wizard in Windows XP Pro. I have successfully stored an image of my hard disk onto an external USB HD.
Suddenly, the boot disk will not work?
I put the floppy disk into the drive and restart the machine. It proceeds normally until it arrives at a message that reads:
ID2=HDS722580VLAT20 and then it freezes.
Please advise.
Many thanks

Did you make an image of the boot sector? Norton may do it all at once but I have seen some program that require seperate imaging. They look at them as two seperate drives/partitions.
