Its no wonder skype has hooked things into their software demanding you give everything you know to them about your contacts. Even if i still used skype,I WOULD DELETE IT FROM MY COMPUTER IF FB TOOK OVER!! (Skype has become an overbloated piece of garbage -- When they first came out they were abour 8 megs installed -- NOW around 22 Megs!! (Garbage))

Online Wall Street Journal says it's Microsoft.

Microsoft Corp. is close to a deal to buy Internet phone company Skype Technologies SA for between $7 billion and $8 billion—the most aggressive move yet by Microsoft to play in the increasingly-converged worlds of communication, information and entertainment. A deal could be announced as early as Tuesday, people familiar with the matter said, though they cautioned that negotiations aren't yet final and a deal could still fall apart. Including Skype's long-term debt, the total value of the deal is about $8.5 billion.

Representatives for Microsoft and Skype declined to comment.

I sure do hope it is the end for Skype. It's almost as bad as the horrible twitter fad and social networking fad. I can't stand it.

It never fails.

As soon as something gets popular, it is bought up by one of the ten people who own everything in this world.
