(This post is re-directed from: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic395744.html)

Hello,

I have been having problems with my computer, and some sort of malware is causing my internet to not work in a strange way.

First, I downloaded some malicious software, which caused the following problems:

1) My programs weren't working properly, and I had to essentially pick the program to run the intended program (which was always the program itself).

2) My internet browser stopped working. I could still connect to the internet using programs (updating anti-malware programs, playing online games, etc.) but actually accessing the internet through browsers (such as Firefox) doesn't work; whenever I try, I get a message, stating, "The proxy server is refusing connections. Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.)

After running Super Anti Spyware a bunch of times, and with the help of cryptodan, another BleepingComputer user, I was able to fix the first problem. However, the second problem remains, and by request of cryptodan, I am re-posting my problem to this forum.

I have no idea about the nature of such a problem, only that sometimes, whenever I try scanning again, new malware will be picked up (moreso than usual), yet the problem will persist.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

(On a side note, when I was composing the logs, I neglected to turn off my virtual cd-rom programs beforehand, as the drives were already empty. I apologize for my tardiness, and if this is important, please let me know, and I will run the program again without the programs on.)

Here are the logs from DDS and GMER:
