Did you recently install or update the driver for your nvidia video card? Does this only happen when you play GTA?

I know what you want to do and you don't need to be crude.

Why did you upgrade the driver - was there a problem with the old one? If not, open device manager, double-click on your video card, go to the driver tab and roll back.

So this is a new install? Did you also install the chipset driver? Please open device manager and see if there are any errors.

Okay. First thing I suggest is that you check for a bios upgrade. You can also look for an older version of the nvida driver.
And you never answered if this only happens with GTA

EDIT -
This is Not if you are having hardware problems . only software problems -
