I had tried to reinstall net 3.0 for a problem I was having. When I tried installing it again, it closes and says Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 has encountered a problem and needs to close. Now, I can't install it. What could be wrong

First run a disk check on your system - Copy and paste this code into Run Box -
Your computer will shut down 30 seconds after you press OK, then reboot and run a full 5 stage check (takes about 1 hour) so let it run - It will restart after it finishes -
Next -
Please retry from this direct link .Net 3 Download
Also check in Add / Remove (in control panel) to make sure if it is or is not installed -
Thank You
