Hi everyone,

Any help is appreciated, please be aware I am a basic user but I can follow directions with the best of them!!

I am running XP 2002 with SP3. I recently got the Windows Recovery Virus,I have run Avira, Superanti spy and StopZilla.

Each found a few bugs and fixed them but I am still having problems.

I can not do a system restore and all of my icons are hidden. I have gone through the posted steps as how to unhide the icons and even ran unhide.exe but no luck.

Any one with ideas or a fix would be great to hear from.
