WINDOWS XP HOME WIL NOT BOOT UP

Hi all,windows XP Home boots up as far as the windows flag .Then the B.S of D COMES UP WITH THIS MESSAGE -----

STOP: c0000139 (entry point not found).. The procedure entry point could not be found in the dynamic link Library ntdll. dll.

Any ideas please?

System manufacturer and model?

From what I see, there is no definitive documentation of what is wrong or how to overcome it.

I would try a repair install.
