Okay, may be my first post, but I really wish I didn't even have to join the forums.

My problem is common, the solution, I cannot find. (especially in the infected browser)

I clicked on an image on Google Images doing a search for a school project, and guess what? Yep. F---ing redirect link to a rogue scanner, that AVG Free caught after the damage was done. I got the guy's IP address, and found it it's from a Romanian area, with a (of course) unused e-mail account and domain. (probably used to set up other redirects)

Anyway, I wasn't sure if I escaped clean or injured until I came to this forum and got a 403 Server Empty error when I clicked the "Spyware Removal" tab. Just to make sure, I'm currently running in Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode), and guess what? Tab works fine here. I really would love to know how to remove this stupid Romanian Scanner so I can get back to enjoying things? (I've already cleared all the information from Chrome since the incident).

Sorry if I sound a bit noobish, but I just need help. This is the family computer, and I have no other way to get real school work done.

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
