One of my local disks is suddenly empty what should i do?

Hello,this morning I checked my local disk F, and every thing was in its place. a couple hours later i tried to install a software on it, it failed and as i checked it again 90% of it was gone. the disk suddenly got free space by 20 GB! what happened? please help me!!

Welcome to BC!
I would suggest you post about this problem in the forum for your version of Windows. How large is your F: drive in total? What application were you attempting to install? What other changes did you make that might have contributed to the problem (even if on another drive)?

Thank you for your attention;
29.3 GB, Dragon(a software which converts speaking to writing,[after the installation on my laptop failed, I tried it on my PC and there was no problem.])
and visual c++ for Dragon(which installed successfully on C drive.)
No other special thing that day.
