Visual C++ error 1714

Hi Guys,

How could i resolve this issue regarding with the Visual C++ error 1714
It says cannot uninstall the previous version of visual C++.
This is for security updates

The updates for Visual C come via Microsoft Update.

The error 1714 appears resolvable by downloading/installing Visual C++ 2005 .
