Hi,

Hope someone can help me. My neighbour has bought a macro-vision dvr card installed it worked ok then updated drivers from the manufacturers website, this has knocked out windows firewall and the network connection. The comp is running win7 32 bit a dell dimentions 5100. I have done scans with security essentials didnt find anything malwarebytes found a few adaware progs and spybot found nothing,i have done a Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.4

EDIT: Removed HJT log, malware tool not allowed in this forum, no evidence of malware stated ~ Hamluis.

Hope someone can help i dont really want to format the computer.

Are you able to connect to the internet at all? Are you able to turn windows firewall back on?
