Open up Windows explorer. You can click the My Computer icon on your desktop or using My Computer in your start menu.

Then click on Tools/Folder Options/View tab.

Under Hidden Files and Folders, uncheck don't show hidden files, folders and drives.

You can also uncheck Hide extensions for known file types and Hide protected operating system files if you want to view those.

Click Apply.

If you don't see the toolbar with Tools listed:

Click Organize.

Chose Layout and check Menu bar.
