After my recent malware issues (which were cleared up thanks to this forum - you guys rock, by the way) I decided to make sure everything was updated and secure. In the course of doing that, I tired to update iTunes, but the .exe downloaded as a 0 byte file, and I can't delete it, getting a message saying it's open in another program. I thought I would be clever and started up in Safe Mode and tired to delete it, but got the same message, even though in Task Manager anything even vaguely Apple-related was listed as Stopped.

I do have a restore point from just a few minutes before I downloaded the .exe, from some Windows updates, but is there any other way of getting rid of this apparently cursed file? (or will the restore point even work?)

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Nevermind, problem solved. Just started in Safe Mode + Command Prompt and deleted it that way. So if anyone else has this problem, that works.
