Hey, I've heard a lot about Portal 2, so I wanted to check out the original game. But, I'm not sure if my PC can handle it.

It looks like my graphics card doesn't have enough memory, and my cpu is outdated. But I wanted to ask you guys first, just to be sure.

Oh yeah, here are the system requirements for the game; I got from somewhere else on the Internet:

Portal
Intel Processor Pentium 4 3.0GHz
Nvidia Graphics Card GeForce 6600 GT
ATI Graphics Card Radeon X700 Series
RAM (Memory)1 GB
Hard Disk Space 3 GB
Direct X 9

Thanks

Your CPU & graphics are definitely inadequate to run this game based on the specs you posted.

As for portal, great game! I loved the first one myself and will eventually get portal 2 at some point. I just have to decide whether to get it for PC or PS3.

I think it would be beneficial to for you to upgrade graphics & RAM. The best way to check how is it going to work is to play the demo, eg. via Steam.
