I am new here, so not sure if I posted correctly. Have been using your glossary for a year, and reading threads, but just signed up.

Following directions from another BSOD thread, I did this:

The most common cause of that error is often driver related. As a first step in troubleshooting I suggest you go to the websites of your various hardware manufacturers and download and install their latest drivers (video, sound, NIC). You can also check for a bios flash.

NOTE - if you are on a laptop you should obtain all drivers from the website of the laptop manufacturer.

Thank you... is there a trouble shooter I can use?
And yes I am on a laptop.. here is the system info that I copied:

Here is what kind it is from the system file:
HP Pavilion dv6 notebook
Intel i3 CPU 2.26ghz M350@2.27 ghz
Installed memory : 4 gb (3.6 usable)
64 bit Operating system
Touchscreen with 2 touch points

I dont remember the other 3 BSOD .. maybe my daughter was on here when those occured? So does it mean they are 'fixed' too?
Can I shut down and open in normal mode?
I have pictures I need to back up, but itwont let me since I am on safe mode and too scared to do anything!!

THANKS!!
