Have you ever think to your self that sometimes you become a racist? Do you believed that there are really people who are racist in their character and if yes, who are they?

Perhaps this should be in the "Speakeasy" Forum?

Otherwise:

We need to define racism to ensure we are all on the same page. Or, perhaps, one's view of what racism is does effect how they would view your questions.

My answers:

No.

Yes - the "other guy".

Here is my thought; everybody is suspicious of anything different, therefore someone of a different race is going to generate negative feelings. Removing or reinforcing those feelings is a matter of social norms.

@ groovicus -

That is why I suggested we define racisim.

It is important to separate it from "differencism".

corneto_20,the simple answer to your question is yes there are racist's,klu klux klan,
Arian nation, ect...To be uncomfortable around somebody that you've just met is normal..after all you don't know that person, race doesn't have anything to do with it...for example: my brother
has a far amount of tatoos, can and has whipped his weight in wild cat's :hysterical:
so to people just meetin him for the first time, they may be a little put off, why??
because of his appearence, they don't know him....once they get to know him, they know that he has a very loving heart,is slow to anger, and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed
it.at first glance they wouldn't know that riden that Harley, he has gathered Toy's
for Tot's( Christmas cherity for the under priviledged).
You see corneto_20 it's all about perseption's,when i first meet a person of another
race am I instantly suspicious??? no, it's not their race that interest's me, it's the content of their character that interest's me.
