Hi Everyone at BC,

I have a Dell laptop with Windows XPpro SP3. It used to connect just fine via wireless to the internet. It still connects fine via direct DSL line. The wireless connection does detect wireless servers in range. But whether I try to use a password account or simply a public account, it will not connect. I think that in an attempt to fix the problem myself a few months ago at a friend's house I made some changes to the set-up that have made the problem worse. At any rate, I would like to start with this theory.

If you respond, please give me a couple of days to get back to you.

Thank you!

Thank you so much computerxpds. The computer is at a different location at the moment. I should know tomorrow or the next day. It is a Dell Latitude but I don't have the exact number. Wanted to get started on the question while I am here with my desktop. Will get back to you as soon as I know the answer.
