Is this directly related to the recent Important Update for "...Visual C++ Redistributable...", which I asked about in the Windows Vista forum?

I have installed that one, but the problem is still there. In the error notice before,it said about the Explorer.EXE, I have used IE8, now I have upgraded to IE9, nothing change, I don't know what to do with this problem, please help!!
Anyway, thank you for your reply.

Note: In my system, control panel, it already has Visual C5 and Visual C8, these ones has been updated from Window Update before.

Today as I use another computer, Win XP, with that External HDD ( included my musics, pictures, docs which I have mentioned earlier about the error notice of Runtime Visual C++ ); no more error pops up. That means Vista is not compatible with those things, I might change to another OS to avoid the problem.

<<That means Vista is not compatible with those things,>>

I suppose that's possible...but there millions of Vista users who think otherwie, since they haven't the problem on their Vista systems.

I would uninstall your Visual Basic programs, using Add/Remove Programs...and then download/install the version I previously linked to.
