My PC (notebook), HP Pavillion dv6000, OS Vista, S/N: CNF71039PQ P/N: RV018UA#ABA is not able to connect to the Internet via both a cable and wireless connection. It does not recognize a
wireless network.

Also, when attempting to boot in Safemode, pressing the F8 key, it is unable to perform the function. When booting the machine in normal mode, the boot time is long.

Important: the DVD/CD tray is broken and unable to boot from a disc.

I would like to update both the BIOS AND Drivers.

The first resolve is to connect to the Internet. Would appreciate your assistance. TY!

Please try to use a different cable. The cable that you are using might not be working now or is already busted.
